Well, hey there, Savannah! Meet our amazing team of urgent care pediatricians. Dr. Yael Elfassy is living proof that we’ve got the absolute best here at UKC. We’re proud to have her as Medical Director. She’s truly amazing at what she does and equally impressive with your kidz.

Dr. Elfassy has put in 13+ years at some of the best medical schools in the world, learning to become the highest-level pediatrician you can find. She studied at Xavier University of Medicine and then came back to Savannah for her Residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She’s been working magic at Curtis V. Cooper Primary Health Care for nearly a decade. And now we’re so lucky to have her practicing right here at UKC!

What makes Dr. Elfassy truly excellent is her love for working with families. Only fitting since she’s a family person herself. She’s got a special kind of compassion that shines when she meets and treats children. Nobody else does it quite like her! Dr. Elfassy has a genuine passion for providing urgent kidz care right here in Savannah.

Dr. Elfassy loves getting to know the kids she works with, from infants to teenagers. Her main mission is to help the kidz in our community grow up healthy and strong. She puts a lot of value in building trusting relationships with parents through patience and education. That’s real dedication!

She’s got a soft spot for young athletes too! Being the outdoorsy type herself, she knows all about the injuries and illnesses that pop up on the field or the backyard. She’s also involved with Savannah’s own Low Country Pediatric Society, now serving as their Director of Community.

All of our urgent care pediatricians are fantastic, but if you’re lucky enough to see Dr. Elfassy, you can bet she’ll have your child feeling better in no time. Dr. Elfassy will gladly take care of your child’s school or sports physical examination, or make sure they’ve got all the right immunizations to stay healthy and strong.
