Medical testing for kids, athletes and students
Services Available at UKC
When there’s something going around, you’d better know what your kid has or doesn’t have so you can react appropriately. We’ve all seen it happen. A bug starts going around school and next thing you know, every kid in class has it. Sickness develops differently in each kid, so the symptoms might be different for your child than from others. Come to UKC and have your child tested so you know the severity of the issue. Then we’ll prescribe treatment so you know how to respond best for your child.
Medical Testing, including:
Fever in babies older than 2 months
Flu Testing
Sports injuries – sprains/strains/concussion w/o loss of consciousness
STD Testing
When your child has a scary reaction to something and you can’t figure out what, bring your kid to Urgent Kidz Care for testing. We’ll narrow down the issue and confirm what happened, or possibly give you a different, correct answer.
Is it COVID-19 or just a flu bug? You need to know because no matter how your child is reacting, their classmates or teammates may be immunocompromised. It’s possible that one of your child’s friends could have a very different, very much worse sickness if they caught what’s going around. Be sure you know what you’re working with so you can make the best parenting decisions for your own child.
Sometimes, having a sick child can be a very scary experience. We’ll test your child so you can leave with peace of mind, knowing well what both you and your child are dealing with.
When you’re a new parent with an infant, you might feel silly, like you’re overreacting to every little nuance. That’s okay! Better safe than sorry. Bring your baby in to see our pediatricians. We invite you to create a relationship with us. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable with a doctor who will hold your hand through all these new experiences. There’s no need to rely on the Internet for possible answers. UKC helps you feel at ease with trained, licensed, professional expertise.
